Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements used.
For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted aren't refunded.
Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchased from the store for 150k each. upgrade item are used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment, for example increasing its damage.
Players can roll their equipment using three categories three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to higher quality. To make them, you require a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next success result is repeated. This lets you save upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of every preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they display an image and description of the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.
In the end, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones

To upgrade equipment players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements have been satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It's done by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade materials and give the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in that particular area. The process will continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon next to their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components cannot be stacked against each other, and can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component also requires an amount of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after is a player has enough resources will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. Also, when a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will have discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to give an extra effect or attribute bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this will ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Items upgrades enable players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade tokens.
Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for added effects or a higher item level. The upgrades can be acquired through a variety of sources in the game, such as crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components come with additional modifiers which can further enhance the stats of the item.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense and adds an extra 20% chance to block. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Some items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats and more for the fact that it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) and the level of the item, the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory once you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
