World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of your items is a crucial part of equipping your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and enhancements.
They also provide bonus effects and improvements. They can be acquired by contacting the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is available on any item. Each item recycled adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
When an item is upgraded, it will gain a base damage bonus, as well as a scaling factor that influences other stats. The weapon may also gain a variety of upgrade components, which provide additional features or effects and some even have distinct cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets, and gathering tools. Most require that the equipment have an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from the weapon, armor or trinket, but it is not replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be recovered using the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or a high-tier salvaging tool that is attached to an item.
In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded using the Calibration Attribute which improves certain stats, such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon, this can be done up to four times.
Once the weapon is at maximum upgrade, it can be reforged with a number of different upgrade types to improve certain stats or add bonuses and effects. you can try these out of these upgrades can be re-applied at once, and their effects differ based on the rarity of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both upgrade materials are different: Smithing Stones to modify the damage weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.
It is generally advised to improve weapon damage first, followed by armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats that are required by your build. In particular, it's common to see melee druids upgrading their weapon before any other gear, because it will increase DPS. This is particularly true for enchantments that can increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to boost the effectiveness of certain weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades can also give additional effects, for example, additional damage or a cosmetic enhancement. Item upgrades can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, through loot drops, or as rewards from quests.
The quality of armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most of the time an item of armor will be upgraded to next tier once an upgrade is applied. Most types of armor can be upgraded, however some items (such as the starter armour in Great Sky Island) cannot.
Most armor upgrades increase the item's defense or strength by just a little. Certain upgrades, however, could result in significant improvements in strength or defense. This is particularly true when upgrading epic items.
Certain upgrades offer special abilities which can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be very useful in combat. For instance they can boost the speed of attack or block. Some upgrades have passive effects that are useful like the ability to reduce damage while wearing armor, or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.
Upgrades to armor can require several attempts, depending on the type of armor. For item upgrading for instance, if a player wants to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of the ages of 59-67. The second attempt would result in the creation of a Dragonscale armor that has a base defense of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do so it is necessary to visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations houses the power of a fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular opinion, armor in The Division 2 is not in any way useless. Certain armors provide a significant increase in the ability to reduce damage from poison spells, curses, magic or fire. This makes them valuable for certain types of builds. There are other ways to improve armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait to boost armor penetration or the challenger trait that reduces total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in an brewing stand in order to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a different effect tier, and is able to be repeated for more potencies.
The potion also has an individual color code, which the player can select by using /give. This alters the area-of-effect clouds and arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, a common potions that are thick and awkward now have a new texture of brewing. The potion of weakness was added to the healing potion to the Creative inventory. The potions are lingering and can be made with splash potions or dragon breath and a strong potion with the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4:45). Trinket
A trinket is an inexpensive piece of jewelry. This can be a necklace, ring or even a tiny flag to identify a vessel's lateen yard. It could also refer to an gilded trinket connected to the mast of a boat.
This bizarre trinket appears to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze, making them more common. The trinket, at the moment, makes all types of mimics more prevalent and gives each floor a probability of Y% that it will contain an ebony-colored replica. Upgrades to this trinket require a small amount of energy.
The enchanted Scepter's magic appears to influence the dungeon and increase the likelihood of generating grass and water. This trinket at the moment will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It does not affect glyphs, enchantments or cursed armor or weapons, or other items that are created to solve danger rooms.
While it appears like an ordinary eye of a newt, this mysterious item appears to affect your vision in ways beyond merely reducing your field of view. At its current level this trinket increases the overall health gained from drinking potions of healing, waterskins and wells of health by X% and gives you eyesight on enemies within Y tiles. This trinket cannot be combined with the Heightened Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You can find them after defeating Monsters, and in chests and crates. They are not found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket into the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will cause an unpredictable effect on the trinket, either extending its lifespan or enhancing its effects. You can reforge an item as many times as you like, but it will always have an impact that is different from the one that it had when you made it.
You can also improve your Trinkets by putting them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. This will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by only a tiny amount.
